16 Oct Chef Sherri Mitchell
I was fortunate enough to pick up some more pieces from Brooklyn Copper Cookware a few weeks ago and am just now getting around to sharing them. I added a 1qt saucepan and cover (which is ADORABLE… which is a weird thing to say about cookware, I know, but really, until you see it in person it’s hard to describe how beautifully cute this piece is (in addition to being a workhorse, of course)), a 9.5” sauté pan and cover, and a cover for my 3qt saucepan that I bought last time. Just as before, their workmanship is INCREDIBLE and they provide such visual joy even when I’m not cooking with them. But when I AM cooking with them… heavenly. All of my meals turn out beautifully and I have complete confidence in my pans (which, as a chef, is priceless).
I was able to give my Brooklyn Copper Cookware collection a much-needed polish and I am gearing up to make two sauces tomorrow – chili sauce and my famous brisket sauce – while smoking a Boston Butt on my BGE (with football in the background, of course!).
Thank you Mac and everyone at BCC for continuing to bring back old world craftsmanship and doing it with such style 💕
